"Rules of Manhood"

There are some rules that go along with being a man. Few people ever talk about them. I thought I'd list a couple and see how many others can contribute, as well.

To begin...

1) Never attempt to pick a woman up unless you know you can.
WHY: If you fail, she will think you're weak, so she will think less of you as a man (AND she'll feel bad about herself... which will be your fault).

2) Never, ever, under ANY circumstances, drop a woman.
WHY: She will think you're weak, so she will think less of you as a man (AND she'll feel bad about herself... which will be your fault).

3) No matter what the danger (or how big the bug), never run away faster than your woman.
WHY: She'll think you're not a good protector so she won't ever feel secure ENOUGH around you. As a result, (you guessed it) she will think less of you as a man.

Can you think of any others?

Someone really should tell these to little boys at some point in their lives (along with a few other things, now that I think about it).

Those rules are hilarious. Any reason you developed them??

Experience and observation.

Just thought I'd share'em and see what else was out there.

I'm glad they're amusing, but I'm serious about'em.

As a woman, I don't feel I'm qualified to give rules on manhood.

However, here is one that I appreciate: Don't, under any circumstances pretend to know something that you don't. Because when it comes to light that you don't know ... you'll look like a dumb ass, she'll think less of you as a man, and she'll feel bad about herself for having to point out your idiocy and that will totally be your fault.
