"Scientists create cloak of invisibility"

source: Yahoo! news by way of my girlfriend (thanx)
'"We have built an artificial mirage that can hide something from would-be observers in any direction," said cloak designer David Schurig, a research associate in Duke University's electrical and computer engineering department.'
I thought that was kinda neat. They're also talking about some very novel applications of this technology, which may one day mute, eliminate, or (more appropriately) "cloak" vibrations that cause earthquakes.

Wow. Incredible. Soon we'll be living in the comic book era flying invisible planes like Wonder Woman.
