Black conservatives are scary. How can you honestly advocate a conservative agenda in Amerikkka? I think black conservatives hate black people.
I don't know about all of'em, but you're probably right about at least some of'em.
Powell and Rice got a pass, for a while, but I think they should really be ashamed of their records with The Administration - not even as Black people, but just as people.
I'm glad to see that Powell grew a backbone since he left. (That's probably a somewhat unfair characterization of him, but I've been quite disgusted with him, for some time, now.)
I have come to make a distinction between black conservatives (which would consist of every member in my family over the age of 50) and black political conservatives.
I'm doing research for part II of this discussion because I think most BPC's have a twisted understanding of Booker T. Washington stance on race as well as having demented view of black culture.

I had to destingiush between black folk being socially conservative and the political conservative philosophy that came about around 25 or 30 years ago.
By today's definition my grandmother would be a conservative. However, her politics were more aligned with liberalism.
So by say black political conservatives, it narrows the population to the likes of Ward Connerly, Armstrong Williams, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson and Larry Elder.
