Quick hits: The Why's of Me

Just a few ponderings about myself (sprinkled with a few about others):

* Why do I attract pious, Aries women with birthdays at the end of March?

* Why do women watch me when I'm talking, instead of listening to what I'm saying?

* Why do I prefer mediocre-looking, good conversationalists as opposed to good-looking, mediocre conversationalists?

* Why is the list of foods I can't/don't eat about as long as the list of foods I can/do?

* Why can't my father and I be in the same zip code without stressing?

* Why is Church's selling sweet potato pies shaped like their apple pies? Why did I listen to them and try one? Why was it so damned GOOD?!

Why am I asking so many questions? Oh yeah. Cuz I'm me.

Hey, I knew we had several things in common man. My father and I live in different zip codes too and it's stress aplenty for the both of us! Mad, Mad, MAD kudos to the Aries women's birthdays in March line. I seem to have the same ailment.. poor us huh?

I like living in a different zip code than my father. Actually where he lives they do not even need zip codes or house numbers. Lol.

How do you know the women aren't listening and watching. Plus, from the pic you don't look to hard on the eyes so that may have something to do with it. Lol.

It's for the best in our case. I still love him, but the sad truth is that I really don't like him very much at all.

The feeling appears to be mutual.

Hehehe. It's been a trend since ninth grade, if you can believe that.

Since my mom's birthday is in March, I'm afraid of what Freud would say. Lawd.

re: "How do you know the women aren't listening and watching."

I know they're not listening to me the same way a woman knows a guy's not listening to her once his eyes drop down to her cleavage or whatever - especially since the first words out of their mouths confirms that they didn't hear a single word that came from mine.

Some of them have straight-up admitted the behavior, but I really don't get it.

:) Thx, but it's often the look I'd expect a person to have when they're trying to figure out if the dog just said "Mama."

Somehow that isn't a shocked look to me. But I talk to my dog quite a bit :-)

Cuz we enjoy chocolatey brothers with good diction, varied interests and nice smiles. ;)
