Here's a picture of one of the two puppies I fell in-love with, a couple of weeks, ago:It took everything I had not to take him home. I was heart-broken, for a while after that.
As I recently told a friend, 'Luckily, the neighborhood dogs have been kind enough to bark and yap up a storm, which made it easier for me to get over my "loss."'
Anyway, I thought I'd share the cuteness. Enjoy.
P/S Supposedly, that's a Pomeranian. I didn't even know they "came in black."

Ahh yes, the cute little furry ball. That's what got me about 2 years ago. And now what do I have? a 4 legged child...that doesn't know he's a D--O--G.
LOL
I had to tell my momma about your "D--O--G."
Too funny.
But yeah, I came mighty close to taking the lil hairball home, that day.
LoL
You make him sound like a pair of shoes. I like Pomeranians because that's probably as big as they'll ever get.
A few years back, our Recruiting Office did a "Toys for Tots" Christmas run in the cancer ward. I remember having to give this lil' girl a Pomeranian puppy instead of a toy.
Maaaan, I ain't wanna part with that dog (she came in white). But you should've seen that girl's eyes light up. Inside I was like "Dayum. HERE!", but I let that go when she was dancing all over the girl's lap.

Ha!

Same here. We had a bigger dog when I was little, but later in life, my mom and grandmother went for the "compact models." As you say, they don't get but so big, so if I need to hem his lil ass UP, I can do that without sacrificing a digit or a limb.
I could do without the yapping, but there are all sorts of trade-offs.

Awww.
See, I couldn't work somewhere they sell or give away such cute animals. I'd either get too attached or I'd turn people down because they're not "good enough" for the dog, somehow.
*sigh* I've got issues.
