Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter: R.I.P.

I haven't heard much in the blog-world about the passing of Steve Irwin, also known as "The Crocodile Hunter."

I just want to say that I wasn't as bothered by Mr. Irwin's ebullience as some were. He seemed to love animals, love his job, love his family, and genuinely care about being respectful of nature

I'm not one of those folks who cried when Princess Diana died and I'm not coaxing a frog out of my throat, this time, either. But I am moved by his passing and just thought I'd take a second to say so.

Best to his family. R.I.P., Mr. Irwin.

There's actually alot of love being given to him brotha West across the blogosphere. I was definitely a fan and was saddened that he died. However, if you are going to go, no better way to go than by doing the thing you loved most! For that, his sendoff is fantastic. Godspeed and RIP to you Croc Hunter!

I feel the same way about this cat. He seemed like a good hearted honest guy who loved life. Hopefully his passing will bring even more positive attention to the causes he championed.

The world has lost a great wildlife conservationist that was the voice of the animals that couldn’t talk for themselves. He breathed the same air as the animals he was trying to save, looked up at the same sky and will be laid to rest in the same rich soil.

Steve inspired a new generation of conservationists and zoologists who will hopefully grow up and continue his great work.

He will be forever loved and missed by all creatures great and small.

I've read some negative shit from bloggers that strike me as foul. You can tell that the man had a genuine love for animals. What the hell have these nasty nay-sayers have done for them?
Ugh, it's repugnant.
