{se·man·tics n. The meaning or the interpretation of a word, sentence, or other language form}
"Semantics" isn't necessarily a bad word, as many disagreements hinge on how we define our terms.
Here, we'll talk semantics, movies, technology, politics, and just about everything else under the sun.
Welcome.

Didja hear that NPR interview with Cheney's daughter?
She, Mary Cheney, denied that The Administration had "demonized" gays or presented gay rights issues as a threat to "values."
The fact that I was hearing this from a lesbian kinda blew my mind. I couldn't get back to the office fast enough.
I just HAD to ask my closest friendly, neighborhood lesbian (a co-worker) what she thought. She described Cheney's daughter as "unimpressive" and "stupid." She said that's how Mary sounded, anyway.
I just wondered if anyone else heard it and what you thought. You can read/listen here.
