Closure

The Extended, Director's Cut of my comment on Frank Leigh's latest blog post: "Memoirs of a Broken Heart (Finale)"

'Damn, indeed.
That $#!+ hurt ME.

Yeah. Closure or lack of same can be a real beeyitch. We've all probably been there.

My situation mirrored yours in some ways. She kicked me out of her heart when my Mom was in the hospital and things were just painfully crazy.

No real explanation.

A common defense mechanism is to learn to stop craving or even be repulsed by whatever you wanted, but couldn't have. I spent the next few months trying HARD to be common.

About a year and a half, later, she wants to hang out in-person and on the phone, to talk. She wants to clear the air and have a bit of closure... after I don't care, anymore.

So, that's how I chose to leave it. Closureless.
