Happy New Year!

We made it to town, had a lil family drama, got stuck in traffic and finally got some sleep.

11:18am We're now on/at South Beach, preparing to enjoy the weather before the clouds roll in.

12:11pm Best beach ever. Clear water. Soft, "clean" sand (best word I can think of to describe it). I was concerned that everyone in Miami would be model-esque. Not quite, but they do trend upward. Wow. Odd quote from random, thickly-accented passer-by: "Once your balls... Once your balls hit the water, the sharks smell it, right away." Dunno the context.

Walked barefoot. Felt free. Felt pain. Felt enough.
