The half-ways just seem like convenient "outs" for the writers (though that can be fun, too).Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06305755944694741335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18002888.post-1155232114649014812006-08-10T13:48:00.000-04:002006-08-10T13:48:00.000-04:00re: "I don't know why they'd need to be integrated...re: "I don't know why they'd need to be integrated into the rest of the DC Universe... I didn't like the crossover, just how they explained it. Everyone in Dakota thought that the DCU was fictional until they got there.

What I like about the Wildstorm possibility is that Wildstorm doesn't have one, shared universe, but that you do occasionally see their characters interacting with DC's. That's exactly what I'd want to see with Milestone. A Xombi/Hellblazer crossover would be awesome, but I wouldn't to hear David Kim constantly referring to Constantine.Michael Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12514945570212261283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18002888.post-1155226512365693202006-08-10T12:15:00.000-04:002006-08-10T12:15:00.000-04:00re: "If they can work out a fair deal, Wildstorm w...re: "If they can work out a fair deal, Wildstorm would be a perfect place for the Milestone characters."

I guess I could see that working, although I don't know why they'd need to be integrated into the rest of the DC Universe (I always hesitate to say "DCU," now, because it seems to refer to DC's animated continuity.)

I suppose that, for simplicity's sake, Dakota or whatever could be somewhere adjacent to DC-proper.

For some reason, that still kinda bugs me, but nowhere near as much as saying that the Milestone Universe was always a part of Superman's universe.

re: "I'm also grasping onto the fact that McDuffie only mentioned Static in his post. That gives me a lot more hope than this Levitz/McDuffie situation. If they can work out a fair deal, Wildstorm would be a perfect place for the Milestone characters.

I'm also grasping onto the fact that McDuffie only mentioned Static in his post. I don't think Static or any of the other heroes from the Milestone universe will enter the DCU. Lets be real. As popular as those heroes were over 10 years or so ago, and still they haven't been integrated yet? Infinite Crisis or "52" would have been a great crossover to get those heroes into the DC Universe. DC blew it bigtime.Luke Cagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13129670058219925738noreply@blogger.com
